Shipping

Postal Service

I primarily ship with Canada Post as I am located in Ontario, Canada, and this shipping service is the most affordable I have found. If you would prefer your item to be shipped with a different postal service please send me an email at sc.artstudios@gmail.com and we can get a price estimate for your preferred postal service.

Packaging

The safety of your piece is always my number one concern when I am packaging your work. I always ensure my packaging is sturdy, safe, and protects your piece in case of any rough handling during shipping. I do choose to reuse packaging (amazon boxes, bubble wrap, bubble mailers, etc) that may look less than brand new, but is still perfect for keeping your work safe. It is important to me to do my part and not create more waste than needed in my business and reusing packaging is one way I accomplish this.

Cost

All shipping costs will be determined by your location and the size of your shipment and will be available at checkout or can be provided as an estimate if you are considering a payment plan (more info below).

Insurance

When it comes to shipping, I do my best to ensure that your piece(s) are shipped in a timely and secure manner. I require all painting shipments to include shipping insurance so that if something happens to your piece along the way you are covered for any loss or damage.

Duties/Taxes

Customers are required to pay any external customs or taxing on shipping as well, following the requirements of your given area.

Location Restrictions

Due to restrictions on shipping in certain countries I am not able to ship worldwide as the licensing process is not feasible for me at the moment. If you are from one of the countries that I do not currently ship to, but you have someone/somewhere else you could have a painting sent, I would love to discuss what we can do to get one of my pieces to you! I have listed the countries that I Do or Do Not ship to below.

If your country is not on either list, I simply have not shipped to or have not been asked to ship to this location yet. Please feel free to send me a message by email (info@sarahcourtney.art) or through my contact form and I can let you know if shipment to your location will be possible!

Payment

I want to make my work as accessible as possible and therefore, for my more expensive pieces I allow payment plans. I always require a Non-Refundable 30% deposit to be made initially, with the remaining 70% to be paid on a predetermined payment schedule that has been agreed upon between myself and you (the commissioning client).
